Hi everyone. Just joined the forum. I have just bought a 2013 Husaberg FE350 and am about to get into some off road riding after a 15 to 20 year break I have been riding a BMW R1200GS but wanted something a bit lighter to ride in the bush. My last off road bike was an XR400. Looks like a great forum with plenty of info. Heading off this weekend to do a beach ride hitting some sand dunes. Fingers crossed we are back in one piece. FE350 a BIT lighter than a GS?!!!!! Half the weight!!!! Big bikes are fun until you need to stop or turn them quickly- truly pants browning at times! My 990 scared me too many times, 570 MUCH easier to live with!

Great all round bike, you'll love it, everything the XR should have been. Everyone reckoned the XRs were reliable, funny the amount of stuff that actually went wrong......FE350 and brother in orange 350EXC remarkable for keeping on with big hours with the basic maintenance- good oil and a clean air filter.

Enjoy the sensational trails down there- post pics! I haven't ridden there, only heard great things!
