Hello everbody!
I ride a Yamaha YZ426 in supermoto trim
excell rims and motomaster frontbrake
I like it a lot but it's time for a new one ;)
because I want a little more power an a higher top speed
the topspeed of my YZ is about 110km/h...

I have a car to go to work so my bike is only a toy,
but a ride it all year long it doesn't mather if it is cold or hot or rainy
i just have to ride :D

i was thinking of the husqy510,crf450 and the husa 650 :)
but the 2003 and the 2004 versions had some problems?
watherpump,the cams...
and here they say: if you own a husa, you spend more time in the garage fixin it then you ride with it
i ride my YZ for about 3 years now and i never had problems
but maintance is very importent!!!
i change my oil every 300-400km and my valves every 1.000km

if you maintane your husa in a good way
150??km oil and 500km??? valves will it last for a long time?
what are your experiences with husaberg and the 2005 version???

thank you very much everybody and i am so sorry for my worse english :(

Hi Zik0:

I've got a 05 450 with 20+ hours so far and have had absolutely no problems with it. It sounds like you know how to maintain a bike properly so you should be fine.

An important consideration that you may have overlooked is the existence of this website and the extremely knowledgeable enthusiasts and professionals who populate it. This was an important factor for me in deciding to purchase a third Husaberg.

Do consider a 550 before you decide on the 650. The 550 should pretty much out run all the other bikes in its class and feel lighter than the 650.

Hi Ziko, welcome to the site! I agree with Husabutt, maintain the oil and all will be well. I have an 02 with 05 upgrades and have about 500 miles on it now without any problems. Good luck and let-er rip.

the 550?
I only use my bike for road use
and some times i go on circuit for fun
can i buy the 550 in a streetlegal version? or must i convert it myself?
isn't that more expensive than a 650?

As you only use your bikes for road use the 550 would probably be cost prohibitive to convert over (adding small rims, tires etc.)

There is no Husaberg model that can be registered for the street here in California. I therefore mostly think of off road riding when talking about Husaberg's. Consider yourself very lucky that you are able to ride them on the street!

What country are you from?

belgium my friend
in europe

you can drive the enduro en supermoto version of the 450 and the 650 on te streets without any problems :)

pure madness i think :firestarter:
