Greetings fellow 'Bergers!

I recently spoilt myself and bought a new FX450 and am loving this new ride! Perfect for the desert cross country rides we have here in UAE.

I've been surfing this forum for a few days and am loving all the comments and tips and advice. Great to be part of a community that loves their toys so much.

I hope to contribute with some riding stories and pics from time to time.

pretty sure we have another husey owner out in abu dhabi. he has an old 1997 FE501. Davies is the name, proper welsh like boyo! he is a member here but i can't rewcall the last time he wrote on here.

do a search and also go into membership if we still list people and use location as the search priority. might well be able to find a contact for you.....

Thanks Taffy. There are quite a few 'Bergs in Abu Dhabi - the local KTM dealer in Dubai is selling lots...

The desert racing season here is done until the end of summer, so the die-hards are doing social rides on the weekends. This means getting up really early and being done and out of the sun by 10h30, latest.

The 'Bergs are also starting to catch on in South Africa. Everyone admires and aspires to riding / owning one, but they are a bit more expensive than everything else, so they go into the "exotic" category of toys... Like a Ferrari.
