Good afternoon together,

May name is Max, living in Wallisellen in the north part of Switzerland.
I am brand new here in the forum and since two month I am an owner of a Husaberg FE 501, built in 1992.
Normally my dirt bikes on two or three wheels are equipped with a beamer engine or classic 2- stroke versions.
I was looking for a new 4- stroke project on got a Husaberg FE 501 from 1992.
Now I start to rebuilt the machine so that it will be back on the road soon.

With best regards

Max

Welcome Max!

Dirt bike with THREE wheels?!!! You aren't a sidecar racer, are you? We need more crazy on this forum! If you have a Maico 700 in a Wasp frame I want Pictures of that!!!!!

You'll love the engineering in the 'Berg and enjoy the trip!

Hi Rik,

thank you for the welcome.
Sorry, but it is not a Maico / Wasp sidecar.
These machines are very hard to get, even in Germany.
My dirt bike on three wheels will be an Ural from Russia.
Mostly I use the machine for of road traveling, special in the east part of Europe.

Hi Pete,

thank you very much for your greetings.
At the moment I am in the biginning to rebuilt the Husaberg.
I saw, that you have a CZ.
Nice, that these fine bikes are running even on the other side of the world.

Take care, Max

Yep, gotta be (good) crazy to ride a Ural!
Do you fill the box up with spares so you can go around right hand bends?
At least it's got real brakes, the only one I rode had drums and did NOT stop- scary on all levels!

No, the brakes are good.
Otherwise you stay not alive that long in the alps.
The box is for the redwine.
If the machine fails, you need something to drink :)
