Hi Guys,

Just addded a 1999 FE400 to my collection of toys.

Got it cheap as a non-runner with an "ignition fault". Not too sure what the real problem is, I suspect a top end issue, just from how the engine is turning over...

Plan is to pull it down and hopefully fix it up as a modern (for me) trail bike.

New to Husaberg and always up for a challenge!

Cheers

good luck with it. if it is ignition you need to check the stator. disconnect the red, green and black wires. the ohms resistance from the green to black will be a healthy 165-170 ohms while the red to black will be zilch instead of 2,700-3,000 ohms.
