Hi all just thought I'd check in and present myself. Just bought an FS650e 53reg and what a bike. It'll take a bit of getting used to but just taken it for a blat on a back road and wow... One thing tho, it has a Rino Racing can on and I have the standard zorst and jets, so I presume it's jetted to suit. But the silencer is just too antisocial for me. If I were to put it standard again, how much, if any, power would I lose? Oh, and I suppose that'd make the Rino can and jets for sale if anyone is interested...?

Thanks,

Jon

welcome to UHE mate

where you from?

blat? mmmmmm!

uk methinks!

suggest that you download the owners manual and look at the standard jetting.

have a good look around before you leap. read the doc, have a ganders at the manuals and download them etc. go into forums and then search and chuck in all the words that make you inquisitive!

regards

Taffy

Hiya guys - yes I'm from the UK - Lancaster actually, just down the road from Dave Clarke Racing : )) The bike came with the standard exhaust and jets as spares. The bike has the can on, so I'm presuming it's jetted to suit. Spare jet numbers are DR266, 100, 33...

ifit goes well i'd leave it. the dell ortos needed rejetting anyway, it wasn't always a pipe that caused that to happen. a few of us will be rollin through the town in mid october on the way to a dirty weekend on the island.

we'll give you a wave as we go bye!

ye, you can only be overjetted and that always ere's on the side of safety.

Welcome to UHE cHiNeApPlEpUnKs.
What's the name stand for? Definitely different.
If you want the best out of what you have and don't like the noisy pipe, then stick the standard pipe back on and get it jetted properly on a dyno. Correct jetting is the biggest bang for your buck by far, and it will have power, economy and manners that will give you the biggest smile you have had for a while.

Cheers :D

Hiya Garry,

Chineapplepunks is pineapple chunks mixed up - cos I like eating em and always have done lol : ))

I put the standard can back on today and went out for my first proper ride. It's quieter, but still loud. The throttle is'nt quite as responsive, and it's notchy at low revs. But it's still a beast. I'm really starting to throw it into the corners and cannoning it out. I'm 22, I've had 18 bikes, mostly IL4's, but this is hands down the most fun bike i've owned on a twisty back road - it's a revelation......;)
