Hey all, after years of having ktm mx bikes (450sx and 525sx) my girl and myself decided to move to enduros. Wanting bikes we could plate for limited street use when needed,and comforts of elect start, lighting etc. I came across a deal on a husaberg 2010 fx450 that was reconfigured as an enduro and it ended up as my girls new bike .After riding it for the first time at a local ride spot, I was amazed at how light and nimble it felt, and how much faster I could ride it(and with less effort) through the single track trails then the prev ktm's. That night I was on the hunt for a 570 for myself.. I ended up getting real clean 2011 fe570 and couldn't be happier with it.
In the process of trying to find a clean 570 I stumbled across another 10 fx450 that was a great deal and somewhat local also. Told a buddy of mine he needs one and he should buy it.( he currently had a ktm250 xc 2stroke) and the next day he was bringing the husaberg home. It turned out the bike was prev owned by mike Lafferty and was his race bike few years back, he is now a ktm sponsored rider I believe .
We are currently converting this fx450 to an enduro setup as well. And my buddy is extremely happy as well..
