Ordering parts to do my top end refresh and wonder ....thoughts on skiping the cam gears when doing a new chain?? and is the 05 550 a 66 link did or something better??
Thanks

cam chain gears will be fine.We have had good luck with the DID cam chain.don't forget to check/torque the primary drive nut.

....and 66 is still the ight numbers for a chain. get that dual spring kit in there and just watch the CFBs fr trouble otherwise you'll be alright. hav a good look at the bore with the engine at BDC while you're there.

regards
