New FC 450 Berg ?

I currently have a FC470 motox 2002 6 speed berg, im considering trading it in for a new FC 450 (4 speed), can anybody tell me about any power (bhp) and handling differences between the 2 bikes ? Would i be better holding out for the 05 version ? Any feedback would be great

Hi,

the difference between 2004 and 2005 models is not too much.
The 2004 models have got a high quality standard, nice improved details
and they work really well. I would recommend a model 2004.
Maybe you can get one for less money.
The power of your 470 and the 450 is nearly the same, but with the Keihin
carb and the new Kokusan ignition of the 04 the engine produces the power in a smoother way.

2005 FC450

It depends on how much you want to spend the 2005 have new Titanium valving which rev out to about 1150 RPM's also a Completely new lighter better fitting exhaust, a new kickstart design, New frontfork design, new rearshock setup new spring, swingarm new design approx. 30% higher stiffness so make your choice.

FE 450e

The FE450e has a heavy fly wheel this motor only has steel valves is very good off track

New FC 450 Berg ?
