New Exhaust

Every reply I've had so far has been very helpful and thanks. I have had a new problem though. I hit a tree yesterday, very hard, and I managed to destroy my muffler off of my stock '93 FE 501. I have the rather large U.S. arrestor and burn my leg often. The muffler starts right where the 2 pipes merge, way before the # plate. Is there a replacement can at a reasonable price available? Finding a stock unit is costly and hard to locate.

Opie I have a stock 2000 FE400 can and pipes that if it will fit I will sell.

Thanks for the offer Pineman. It may come to that. I reserched my PDF parts manual, but I don't have the page of part numbers that belong to that specific page. If your newer parts will fit I would be interested if the price is right. Maybe someone will confirm the possibility. I have had no luck finding aftermarket replacement parts. Typical 'berg right?
