G'day fella's. After much research and consideration I finally decided to invest my time and money into a Berg.
Finally after months of searching for the right bike I came across a 2008 550fe. Drove 1.5hrs to look at the bike not knowing what to expect. After seeing the bike my first impression was why the hell do we need women (oh ya then it came back, lol). Anyway the bike was virtually brand new. Knobbies still on tires, part# stickers on calipers, no discolouration on intake pipes or wear on seat or handle grips. So first look things seemed legit. Checked to computer and it read 3.8hrs/200mi. After a little negotiating we came too $4500cdn all in! Can't find to many 2008 550's online to compare with but I'm pretty sure I got a wicked deal. Also, couldnt find any information on line if this perticular year and model has any issues besides a leaky waterpump seal. At any rate I'm happy to join the Husaberg family and this forum. Am now just dealing with the torture of waiting for the snow to melt so I can take it for my first rip!
Cheers!
