new arrival to Husaberg

Hi folks,
I bought my first Husaberg FE 501 from 2003 last Friday and will get it into my garage by Tuesday. Bought it from it's first owner who drove it for around 50h. There is still the first chain set in good condition on the bike. She received a new ignition system last year, because she didn't start on the first kick after 6 month of rest.
Well, I'll change her lubes and cooling, clean the air filter and do a bit of maintenance at first, is there anything else I have to keep an eye on?

I would completely clean out the carburrettor and also learn about valve clearances from youtube or similar. MY bike is a 2003 FE501e too! I have developed a jetting kit for it that might interest you at some point. have a look at my facebook videos on ignition timing as well.

Thanks for the offer, actually it’s running quite nicely. I’ll get familiar with it and then think about updates
Cleaning the carb is a good idea, coming from EFI driven bikes I need to take that in mind as well, thx
