Hey guys, Im new to Husaberg, I just baught a 98 fe 501 Elduro at a deaership that just had it sitting in the back for the last 12 yrs. Its bran new and I understand that the Husabergs are high maintenance performance bikes. Im really excited about this bike and plan to do alot of trail riding as I did on my yz490. Can anyone give me some tips on this bike, any weird little quirks? Ive always been on 2 strokes, this is my first 4 stroke and i plan on changing the oil every 10 hrs as the book requires. I rode it the first time on sunday and will be servicing and checking the valves this weekend. What is the difference between the enduro and elduro?

hello my friend i hope you enjoy the fe 501, i have the 2000 model with electrick start the bike is very good ,i don't see any differences between elduro and enduro they have the same specs

The difference is that the Elduro is the electric start model.
El as in electric I suppose.
It is hard to check the oil level in these models at a glance. They do tend to consume a bit of oil so make sure on long rides that you do not run out or get too low.
Change the oil as frequently as possible to maintain the oil level and keep everything nice and clean inside.
