Taffy the blue needle is for a 06 KTM 525 the setting recomended for that bike is 3rd clip position, I run with 5th clip!.......previously ran 40 pilot 75paj OBEKR 5th clip 182 main ran well but had more of a hit in the mid range....JD needle is smoother and stronger all the way through the rev range,not saying this is the best setup but its the best Ive got so far

nb: I can't believe you called my smc jetting awful ... You should have seen the KTM factory attempt, now that was awful. Mine at least runs well

again, i keep saying it: a 165 Mj maximum IMHO. and the needle even then could have been on clip 4 or 3 even.

that's bollocks ok!
the D series end tip, which is accepted as being too big and therfore surely as big if not bigger than the JD needle only adds about 5-8 to the MJ.
i ran a DMS which is just about the fattest tip you can get down to 150MJ. so sorry fella!
