Hi guys, I have a BERG FS 650 E 2004. I live in Mexico City, 2200 mts over the sea level and I would like to know if anybody has a needle jet level tab reference depending sea level. I know right now I am over idel mixture (too much gas), I have readden in the owner manual it is in the 2nd of 6th position starting from top, it means I have just 1 position to reduce gas flow on the 160 yet, is it enought or I need to reduce jet too?

why do you think you are running rich? at what throttle setting is it rich? idle? mid range? full?
more info please.

My question would be..... why do you want to lean up the main jet when you say you are too rich at an idle?
Pilot jet or screw works better for idle adjustment.

Also..... if you change the needle clip to the last available position then you have made it richer..... lift the clip which drops the needle which makes it leaner (but only 1/4-3/4 throttle position).

Hope this helps not hinders.

yes I think so. I'd start looking at 155MJ at that altitude but you must be careful when you come back down or go to sea level. I don't think you need bigger than a 38PJ.

he said his clip is in pos 2, which means he can only go one more leaner. but i agree he's looking at the wrong area. taffy is on board now, he'll set him straight.

Whoops... sorry Daitin-bro..... miss read your post. Must think before posting.....
