My 2011 FE570S needs a new timing chain. Iwas wondering if I get a new OEM or is there a better aftermaket one...?

How did you know it was time to change it ? Hope it didn't snap :shock: These bikes and the KTM are infamous for having the cam chain tensioner fail. This leads to a noisy cam chain

To prevent a cam chain tensionner failure, I bought a manual DJH cam chain tensionner. I've putted it in the bike yesterday and I'm almost at the end of the travel on the manual tensionner... I only have 2 mm of threads left on the main bolt... That's why I guess my chain is not in specifications...
