Hey All,

Ok, so I'm really good at taking things apart. I can remove just about anything. So that's what I did...took the whole thing apart. Added the 70 degree subframe tank and sent my suspension to Dale "E" O to get sprung and valved. Now I'm putting it all back and I don't see some of the key details in my manual.

1. Torque settings for lower fork clamp. I only see the settings for the top triple clamp (17nm / 12.5lbf ft)
-- Do I assume the same for the lower triple clamp?

2. Alignment of the forks. Is there a way to set perfectly or do you just eyeball? What I mean is that I can't tell exactly when it's facing forward...cuz it's round. I remember looking it over before taking it apart and thinking the only alignment was that the two philips screws seemed to align straight up facing forward...i.e. put the top screw as close to the top as possible.

3. Torque for the bolts that hold the brake caliper to the fork leg?? Use loctite here?

Is there a reason some of this is missing from this manual but there is a section on how to remove the engine guard (one screw)??? what?
