Can someone just help me out, I am getting no straight answers or help anywhere I look. I have had my bike for 2 months now & it's nothing but trouble.
I really wanna get it going again but with the limited resources & help over here in Australia it is looking like a no go.
My 1999 FC501 has a dead stator & the flywheel is knackered.
The stator inside has a dual stack & I have been lead to believe that the FC should only have a single stack, therefore it could be an FE 501 stator & flywheel.
What is the difference between the two besides the charging circuit & size?
Should I pay out $700 & keep the current stator set up or go back to the original setup.
Noone seems to be able to help me out with this simple question & I am on the verge of giving up.
Can someone also supply a photo of an FE501 stator so I can compare it to what is crammed in my bike as noone can say for sure what is in my bike.
