Need help identifying a stator

Can someone just help me out, I am getting no straight answers or help anywhere I look. I have had my bike for 2 months now & it's nothing but trouble.
I really wanna get it going again but with the limited resources & help over here in Australia it is looking like a no go. :(

My 1999 FC501 has a dead stator & the flywheel is knackered.
The stator inside has a dual stack & I have been lead to believe that the FC should only have a single stack, therefore it could be an FE 501 stator & flywheel.
What is the difference between the two besides the charging circuit & size?
Should I pay out $700 & keep the current stator set up or go back to the original setup.

Noone seems to be able to help me out with this simple question & I am on the verge of giving up. :(
Can someone also supply a photo of an FE501 stator so I can compare it to what is crammed in my bike as noone can say for sure what is in my bike.
Thanks.

don't we have a '99 parts manual here on-line?

sorry to hear of your woes fella but good luck!

go for the cheaper MX version if you aren't going to run lights/charging circuit again.

i'm sure someone on UHE knows of someone who has a '99 model in OZ? don't we?

look up these sites and pourchase a unit used when they come up.

these are the european and USA searches on e-bay.

I have been hunting on the 'bay for two weeks now. It's a 6 week wait for the motocross stator or 3 day on the FE, only $20 difference between the two, just need to know if the one with the charge circuit is compatible.

Fingers crossed 70marlin looks to have a suitable one.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record here, but one more time. Peter at HMS has 2 large machine sheds with both crammed FULL of parted out Husabergs. 505 870 4807
