I noticed my tank leaking around the cap, turns out the tank is cracked at the base of the cap threads  Previous owner must have really cranked down on it. Anyone have a tank for sale? What other years will fit? I'd prefer to keep the stock yellow, if possible.

Weld it

If you can't find a tank you could try to plastic weld it. Lots of YouTube vids if you want to go that route.

I sell the tanks brand new in both yellow and blue.

first up pprices you see are for the EU. septics get 20% off that and post from the UK is cheap. cheaper still if you don't let the computer sort it and ask me! LOL!!! takes longer to find the right box and pack it than an engine rebuild too!

cheers

Haha, sounds like a plan to me! I dont see these on your website or ebay store, only tanks I see on there are listed for the 89-93 models. Can you post the link to the tanks? I would be interested in a yellow one. What kind of price point am I looking at shipped to the USA, postal code 23150? Thanks, Tim

199040 on my web shop as you probably gathered. 187.50gbp to you. Google says $235 but commercial exchange makes that more like $240-$250. also when I can I keep customers away from Pay-pal...especially when trying to help them. so that's card payment my friend.

actually all the tanks are made, yes MADE in 1997-1998 so quite why the advert says that i don't know. residue from the girls i had working here. who knows how a woman's mind works right?

but those tanks cover 1989-1999 I can assure you. I'd better get the ads sorted on top of everything else I have to do. you get a new cap and the fuel tap on the left. you don't get the diaphram pump (on the right) or the transfer fosset on the left. I can do the transfer and i can get diaphram pumps.

Post is likely 30-60gbp. if you buy through my webshop it will ask you to pay for the item but NOT the post for it. I then quote you and if there are no complaints I go ahead book the post and then get the post money from the customer. it seems to work.

I just did a dry run and as a box it is 60gbp but i may be able to bag it and get it down to 30gbp. But many won't accept 'bagged' parcels and I'd have to follow each company through to virtually paying to find out. so laters for that one.

I hope the info is useful.

cheers

Thanks Taffy. I will keep this in mind. I'll have to save a bit of cash first to be able to swing it. While I have your ear on fuel tanks, Do you have access to any 90's FC fuel tanks? I have a buddy that bought and 95 FC501 that has an FE tank on it. Would love to find an FC tank so it has the correct one. Blue or Yellow doesnt matter, nor does new or used. If you have any leads let me know. Thanks again!

I don't no. if it helps him, the last winner of the haynes four-stroke champioship back in the 90s caught up with me at a show and he said that they all ran the enduro tank because they could get the fuel really low.

about my tank....I'm not sure what you expected to pay for one? I'd have thought $250m was cheap.

Your price is great! Sorry if that came off the wrong way. Not complaining by any means. I just meant I'm a little broke right now, lol! I'll definately be in touch once funds are available to purchase one.
