Need a chain guide for 2003 FE450e

After my 1st couple of hours riding my "new" 'berg the chain guide plastic insert has started to disintegrate. Anyone have a good/quick source for parts and accessories like this that will deliver to Aus?

I want to get some consumables like oil and air filters and anything else you good folk can suggest...

Obviously I REALLY need a chain guide (or insert) asap.

I presume you mean the 'safety' guide-below and rear correct?

they are the same as a KTM number so they are aftermarket everywhere. oddly enough the OEM price is cheaper than the AM price. if you need either just email us.

thanks

Interesting

Yes Taffy - I mean the chain guide that sits on the underside of the swingarm and aligns the chain just before it rolls onto the rear sprocket.

I'm guessing you are mean that the part number for the 'berg plastic insert is the same as the KTM part. As far as I can tell the outer (alloy) chain guard "case" would not be compatible as KTMs had lhs chain drive against the 'berg's rhs chain. The guides look like a mirror image of each other to me but are not transferable...

Thanks for the quick reqpl;y Taffy.

Cheers

your shed

Hello Grassy. I bet, if you wandered to your shed / junk area, you could locate most of an old ice hockey stick. The nylon blades on those are super tough. Use your worn out guide as template, then file, drill, heat, glue, bolt and clamp. Or just order a real one. While you are in there, clean and grease the whole works.
Husky shops can sell you the right filters, usually by K&N Filters. Some shops think they can`t supply a thing for Husabergs. Teach them otherwise. L
