Hello All,
I have a brand new Husaberg TE300. 2012 model.
Now have 5 hours on the new bike and love it.

However....

In the first and second gear power doesn't seem to get distributed properly.
It not running well.
As soon as change into 3rd gear, the bike wants to take off.
3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gear work fine.
It is just 1st and 2nd that aren't working properly. The engine seems to struggle. Like the timing is off.

Currently the bike still has a stock carburator (Keihin PKW 36S AG)
Haven't changed anything to is. According to the book, standard configuration is just what I need.

In first gear problem doesn't show up till 40-50% throttle and same applies for the 2nd gear.
The weird thing is that this doesn't happen in the 3rd gear.
Power delivery is very smooth in the 3rd and up.

If any of the nozzles (probably main jet) would be plugged, the phenomenal would also show itself in the 3rd gear. Which doesn't happen.

On various forums people are talking about the powervalve not working properly, or even being blocked.
This doesn't sound like my issue, because 3-6th gear all is working fine. Or am I wrong?

Does anybody has any idea?
Your help is appreciated!

Peter

Check the Carb first make sure everything is clean

I had a problem like that on my sx200 before and it was the Pv setting, its defo worth looking at.

what bike have you come from?

Has anyone else ridden it or have you ridden anyone elses to compare yours too?

unless i'm in a trials section i dont use 1st or 2nd on my 300 its up to 3rd as quickly as possible but i know if mine wasnt right it would piss me off.

Have you checked how the power is set as if its wound to far in it can feel like the bike is restricted and it does seem to be more noticible in the lower gears.
