μου πόδι πονάει

well i couldn't find latin so naturally i went for the next best thing- greek!

it means "my foot hurts"!

i wake every morning now with a painful arch to my foot from all the kicking i've had to do. i damaged it before christmas helping a lad from worceseter. i was delicate with grasstrackpete's and everybike since.

i'm frightened of kicking the damn things now!

anyone else ever got to the "μου πόδι πονάει" stage?

regards

i always wear a boot taffy, even when just showing the bike to my mates. dont u ?

dont tell me you wear a slip on slipper whilst tooting your pipe and clutching 'The Times' in the other hand ??

mine usually starts first kick lol

No taffy - not me - no never - problems with starting - noooo not me. Broke my kick start shaft - no not me. Driven to tears - no not me.

What I did in the end was got a bloke called Taffy to do a decomp lobe update & crescent mod.

Ever thought of replacing the carb atomised & needle...ahhh how about upgrading the starter motor & battery...ummmmm..my foot hurts...no not me. lol.

Nearly broke my toes of though on the foot peg on the way down!
Haven`t tried much since.
I am dieing to remove all those kgs ie electric start and battery,
Cheers spanner

My lovely berg broke two bones in my foot last year at which point I too used may latin expletives, I was wearing boots too!
I haven't started it since November due to the weatherand a sore foot, I'm too terrified to attempt it.

Well it is on the wrong side that I am used to and you dearn`t kick whilst on the side stand in case it snaps off.
And I am terrified of trying to kick it in public.
cheers spanner.

uuuuhhh!

i've touched a nerve ending here i reckon! LOL!!!

I thought you Brits were "tough as nails" ? Wa , wa , wa , my foot hurts ! Make no wonder you couldn't hold on to this Country. Whilst the colonist and indians were running around bare foot in the snow , the redcoats were all sitting in camp complaining about their feet ! And that before Husabergs were around ! Perhaps you could apply for some "economic stimulus" money to study why brits are so soft footed ? After all in may not be your fault it could be all that weak roman blood you have. Maybe Cypher has some insight on this ? any Scots or Welshmen out there ?

I always use boots and some bike stand or even small chair when I kick my berg.Always, even if I'm on start line on race, I try to have bikestand, where I could stand on it, and give him good kick with rh leg.BTW, years ago, I broke my leg by kicking an old enduro bike JAWA 380 2stroke.Encourage kickstarter on it- It had kickstart on RHS, but was kicking in forward direction (shaft around front of the engine-drives straight up crank!).When I kicked it, my foot slided off and came between kickstart arm and cluth cover. Then, It had backturn on crank... All the energy of backshot gone to my jamned leg... I cant described in english my pain what I had...
Yeah, these vintage enduro bikes made in east europe...

i resemblethat remark!

actually, remember i am only wearing workshop shoes..... and even the good ones are hard to start after a rebuild. and like a goo boy i read the doc and they say " don't use the starter when cold!"

oh well - once more unto the breach dear freinds, for england and st george!

unless im out and about im usually bare footed, even working in the shed, so i got feet like a hobbits.

worst thing is when your cutting the grass and step on a doggy mine that you've missed.

though it is quite a nice squishy feeling between the toes.

We're not bitter, we got a whole country, you're stuck on an island with a Monarchy, and Taffy !

You got whole country, with just 300 year behind, the language you picked up from brits, you spreaded credit crunch like disease, and majority people over the big water aren't native Yanks! When your redskins were run over the forrest with arrows and bows, we, in europe, had theatres, factorys, etc. And we never were obsessive about controlling the whole world like you did!

ha ha ha ha!!!!

swedish jokes hey!!!!

Mycket subtil
