Need more powa.

It is and so is the cam.

I'm getting the head ported first and custom made CP piston installed along with a tune. See where that gets, and focus then getting better throttle body and cam.

awesome, that is one flat torque curve. at times i've thought the motor reminded me of a DR650 on steroids and can see why now... :bounce3:

Nice and flat torque curve :D What mods did you have? I see FMF + Akra but what are the other two 'vakio kone' and 'veto 1'?

Have you looked at the 610 kit? I take it the CP piston is a high version on the stock bore?

Nice work, I'll follow with interest 8)

EDIT: Scrap the above, I watched the video. Normally can't see Youtube clips at work........

I was thinking before a 610 big bore or 664 bore/stroker combo, but it's just not for my type of riding imo. I don't want lazy revving torque tractor motor. Tested the bike few times on kart track with 14-45 gearings and I was craving for more top end all the time...

Low revs from corners almost instantly pops the front wheel towards the the sky, so really don't need too much improvement in that area. :D

Yeah it's a 13.5:1 comp std bore piston. Will send it to a shop to get dome and skirts ceramic coated before installation.

so do you race MaKe?

not sure what your target is?

No racing (yet), just a fun street/track toy and I like wrenching as much as riding (or maybe even more sometimes).

Always wanted to improve or build my rides if they have the potential for it. Stock stuff gets pretty boring quickly...

Hey dude you have a sweet *** ride there and the torque curve is truly fantastic. I would beg to differ re tractor lazy power.. The 610 is still the standard stroke makin it massively over square my dyno sheet is here

Like taffy said a bigger TB is needed for that wailing top end. The way the torque comes on makes the 610 so addictive for me controllable or wild. It's not for everyone but for a fun toy it is the go, I wear a big **** eating grin every time I throw a leg over the ol girl. 8)

Nice dyno sheet! Looks like the power comes a bit earlier on the 610. Must be rear tire eater lol.

All I want is a 450mx bike style power delivery, but with tons more grunt. We were kinda joking with the dyno guy to put 50mm crf throttle body in it, but as I don't have a Honda tb laying around the idea went down the drain.

No camshaft makers here in Finland so thats my next project. Anyone wanna sell 450 or 570 oem cam so I can send it to get regrinded by Thumper Racing or someone else?

I need set of enduro wheels, spare forks and shock, smaller front brakes and higher offset triple clamps for winter! :D

Wanna rip up snow on this thing in the winter too and ride more off road. Summer is for motarding and hooligan stuff.

Well it's very dry and cool here at the moment great weather for making the powa 8) but too dusty on the trails. We could swap wheels etc for the season, surel, postage to Finland can't be that much.
