after 30 hours and 1000 km's it was time to test my supermoto setup that i kept when I sold my 2008 FE450... i have a few small things to sort out but the wheels/beringer brake bolted up without any real problems!

As soon as I threw my leg over it i had such a huge smile. wow i can't wait to get this on the street! the height/seating position/etc... (and that front brake!! ohhh how i miss it!) is just perfect!

My only fear is i'll notice the lack of power from the 08 450 to this new 390 alot more now on the street... but we'll find out soon enough!

That is some fun stuff for sure. You'll need to sort the kickstand. I had to chop off 2" on mine. They also sell a shorter SM one for ~$90.

So i've got the bike all sorted now, with a little trouble bleeding the beringer brake, but that was solved easily enough when I push fluid up from the bottom.

While it's alot of fun on the street, i'm really noticing the difference of power from this '11 390 to my old '08 450. I knew I would, but i can't help but have thoughts of trying to source a 570 engine :)
