My 08 550 has a 7.5L tank Anyone want it?

I thought that it was only the 450's that came with the small tank this year?

Took my 550 for its first ride yesterday and after 45 miles i was out of fuel. Thats some 15 miles short of the first fuel stop. Major bummer!

Does anyone know how much dealers are charging for a new 9L tank?

Alternatively would anybody want to swap their 9L for my 7.5L?

I'm guessing your after a new style tank, however I would happily swap one of the old style (but bigger tanks) for your 7.5l, plus I'm in the UK.

I am in Canada, but would swap a 9L for your 7.5L. I have swapped a few guys and the shipping costs were not crazy.

I,ve been looking for an aluminum tank, but the 7.5 should be ok. I will trade and pay for your shipment, my bike is a 2007 550 with 50 hrs, no scratches yet. I believe the tank is 10L.
