Mounting of new CDI w/ separate coil

I replaced the SEM combo cdi/coil with one from RegulatorRectifier.com. The coil and the CDI are separate. It works great and starts easier. I am looking for the best place to mount the coil. I am tempted to place it within the frame backbone. Has anyone done this before?

Not that I've heard of!

how big an item is it? there should be plenty of room over the engine as it is a 400.

The CDI is not much larger than the SEM. The coil being conventionally separate complicates the mounting. Taffy is correct there is ample space above the head to mount it. I was hoping someone had already come up with an elegant solution to the mounting. I will take some pics of the mounting process. Also I will record how well the new unit replaces the SEM.
Regulatorrectifier.com enclosed a note not to use a lithium battery. I have a 14 amp/hr 200 CCA Lithium battery now. I love it. Do I have to worry about ruining the CDI/coil/stator? Thanks.
