I have a 04 Fe450 and my dealer here in SA fitted the rekluse. After about 25 - 30 hours of riding it started to slip all the time. So I had it taken out 1) as I am getting a 2005 Fe450 and 2) I was worried about reliability. I would like to know 1) is it possible to fit the rekluse to the new bike without taking of the side cover ? 2) is the slippage in my 04 bike possibley due to the installed gap being greatened by wear ? 3) once fitted is it possible to check the installed gap without removing the whole side cover ?
