What is it for? My bike works better without it. When I conect it some kind of dirty fluid drips into my air intake on carburetor.
It was conected on my FE600 and when it was conected my bike didn’t work like it suposed to. My guess is that this dirty fluid entered through air intake on carburetor and ruined air-gas compound. Today i disconected it and my bike runs like crazy! And it runs so smooth on idle. I wil not connect it again because I don’t even know what function this has…actually i can not understant this hole works. my bike still not runing but whent kick the starter. comes pressure air in the hole. i dont know it is normal.
The crankcase oil pressure has to go somewhere. With the stock setup the oil mist gets recycled through the intake. Some people don't like the frame air intake getting oily. Search this forum " breather mod" and see what others have done. One good thing about doing a breather mod is that if you happen to flip the bike over your intake will not fill with oil. On the other hand if you leave it stock you won't have to worry about oil being blown out the breather tube getting oil on your bike. What is it for? My bike works better without it. Thank you very much! You helped me alot! I will get crankcase breather filter and atach it on the hole. I’d rather get fumes on exterior than in my carburetor intake. Be sure to plug the hole in the frame or else you will be sucking dirty air directly into the engine.Thank you very much! You helped me alot! I will get crankcase breather filter and atach it on the hole. I’d rather get fumes on exterior than in my carburetor intake. Thanks once again!
My piston and cylinder are completly new.your piston is probably the culprit, it is old and knackered.
