At those miles it shouldn't be much more than 100hrs. Ask him as hours do vary with miles.
Check whether its weeping. Can help you lower the price if it needs attention.
Ask whether it was sold Ca. street legal from the dealer. I'm guessing not because all
2008 Husabergs came RED STICKER in Ca. that year. Only exceptions would be shady business.
There have heard many stories of plate recalls. And maybe not for a while but it would not be good if it was brought to their attention after a sale that the bike was a red sticker conversion.
I don't want to scare you away from this bike, just stating some facts.
If you do buy it , do a valve check and adjust right away and change the oil.

I've heard of it being done a couple ways. Bringing it in from another state or doing it through another registration agency here..
The factory street legal bikes came with a CA. Compliant emission sticker on the frame. 04 an 05 were split years. Some plated with sticker and some not. I had both. A street legal 650 and a green sticker bike. No Supermoto's came to CA. In 06 to 08. 06 was a green sticker year except for just a few dealer plated enduros with the compliant stickers. I got one of them.
07 green sticker and 08 Red sticker.

That's my buddy Kyle. He bought a 650 from Oregon and has a 550 and a 450 here too. I'm trying to finagle the clarke tank from him but thus far, it's a no go
