Measure your steering lock angle?

Has anyone done this? I am curious because I forgot to do it before mounting the big tank. I spent several hours with a heat gun reshaping the front of the tank for more clearance. I wound up with 38 deg left and 36 deg right using a machinist's protractor. (0 degrees being straight ahead and the angle measured being how much the bars turn from 0 degrees). I am hitting the stops on tight trails, but only once in a while; so it's not a problem.

I can answer my own question now. A club member needed help to change the waterpump seal in his bike. When he brought it over I checked the angles and they measure between 37 and 38 degrees. He also hits the stops once in a while on tight trails. At least I have a turning radius equal to a stock bike while using the big tank.
