Map switch to 2014 250FE

Hi guys!

Read something about map switch installation how many of you are using this? Do you wanna give your feedback about it? Does it worth it? Where to buy in Europe? Some installation video?

If you get the map switch you will also have to get the race map download or unlock from the dealer as well. A standard map comes with the bike and to use the switch you must get the race mapping so you can switch between the curves.

I dont think you need to install the racemap or unlock the ecu. I might be wrong.

Contact an official husqvarna dealer and ask. If you are close to stockholm I recommend mc sport.

I am thinking the map for the 2014 FE250 would be the same procedure to the 14 FE350 and mine required the race map loaded then the switch or the switch does nothing. That of course is on a USA model

Yes, I could be wrong. But so far I have never heard of the need to change anything in the ecu for bikes bought in sweden. The racemap is also sometimes refered to as the euro map.
But to be sure he should contact a lical dealer.

Yes that would make sense for sure. Euro is a better map
