Hi guys.

I've been researching and spending days here and on Offroadboss. com and ktm-parts.com and I think I know what I need but I would like to be sure before I pull the trigger.

I live in TX so I don't need turn signals but do need high beam indicator ,a horn and such.

here's the list I made out, any suggestions as far as what to be careful of or if there's any other product you'll recommend on top or instead of what I wrote down will be highly appreciated.

From Offroadboss.com:

1. Husaberg Early Model Factory Tail light Kit #2 (Kit Includes:Number Plate Carrier/Rear Tail Light Lens and bulb/Lamp Holder & Hardware/Wiring Harness Rear) - $69.00

2.HYDRAULIC BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH (should I choose the 10x1.25mm or the 10x1.00mm Single ?) - $19.95

3.Dual Sport Multi Switch - $66.95

5. Acerbis Mirror (Folds down) - $15.99

from Ktm-parts.com:

6.KTM Headlight Kit 2005-2007 EXC (in black, even though I wish it could come in blue) 54814001044 - $112.99.

I tried to find the OEM headlight but couldn't. is this it? does it have high and low beam?

-Am I missing anything?
-will the multi switch work with all this stuff?

Thanks guys.

The Trail Tech X2 lights come in all colors....including blue. They work awesome and the halogen model is $79.99. The HID works GREAT but a little more pricey at $299.

I really like those trail techs but I'm not sure if they'll pass Texas inspection...

If you're looking for the stock parts to do a DS conversion, I have them. Was going to post an ad but waiting to hear when classified section up and running. Let me know if you're still looking.

To Matikrimerman, I just bought an old 501 that has a sale document from South Town Cycle in Red Oak, Tx. I live in Whitney, Tx and have the same journey to take that you do. One thing that you overloked is tires. They must be DOT approved. I wonder if Lady Berg could help me? I really want to get it licensed before i put any more money into it.

Well guys, I still have the stock Berg parts for making into street legal. That is except for the tires  but my state doesn't really look at that.

I have D.O.T Tires on my bike at factory , you might too just read tire side wall, and as for street legal you might want to think about how to lock up that bad boy when you leave it in that parking stall. Just a thought maybe add a key switch so nobody can even try and start it.

Thanks Keith

I was thinking of getting one of those disk-locks.... and I also always leave my fuel line shout down.. they might start it but wouldn't get too far (unless they are smart enough )
