Is this the correct way to install the ntn bearing? The side with the lip on facing the crankshaft?

I did mine that way, and it runs a treat now. I allows the bearing to come apart when splitting the cases also, so you haven't got to put so much force into getting them split apart again.
Also I guess it allows the bearings to float a bit side to side on themselves better than it would the other way around.
Seemed logical to me so went with that. And pretty sure i had also seen pics of others like it when I was doing my research into main bearing options. [emoji106]
