Magura clutch fluid

use the syringe to push the fluid up thru the slave cylinder and out of the master cylinder .

attach a piece of clear hose to the syringe ...draw in the mineral oil from your container , open your bleed screw on the slave cylinder , remove the cover on the master cylinder .

now ..fit the hose on the syringe too the open bleed nipple on the slave cylinder and push the fluid up and out of the master cylinder , along with any air in the system .

close bleed screw , refit master cylinder cover .

This is something that should be looked at & kept clean!
She deserves it and so do you.Magura oil is recomended,why not they built it anyway.
P.S Motorex hydraulic fluid 75 is also a good choice for magura master cylinders.

Baby oil will work, make sure you drain the air out. If your clutch does not work, I would suggest inspecting under the left side cover to make sure the shifter assembly is not stuck. I spent hours trying to figure out why my clutch did not work any more and found out it was the fork looking assembly.

I must know why you could buy a bike that is 2 to 8 thousand dollars & guy's

want to put something like an oil from safeway in the master cylinder?

Baby oil & other mineral oils may work but the action of the plunger is slowed due to
the weight of the oil & the lever feels very sluggish!

Rather than always trying to out smart or cut cost why not follow simple directions?

This topic really scares me.To think there is still someone who sells bikes or services them
& would not have it on hand means there a place that is not up to speed!

Any shop can get it, & if you own a bike that has a hydraulic clutch read the cap
for what is recommended & problem is solved!!

Yes the weight of oil's can very from brand to brand.I have just serviced a few bikes
Were the lever felt really sluggish & also a bit harder to pull with a delay on the lever
to return.So when asking what may had been done found they were useing an
alternative!P.S I did not mean to insinuate you were cheep, we all want to save a buck!

I have seen no difference whatsoever between Magura clutch and baby oil, BOSS, but then I am not a pro, I just ride.
