Luggage on Subframe Tank??

Hi Guys,

I am new here and have some first questions. I hope some of you can help me with those. I have just bought an Adventurized 570 which I intend to use for Adventure Touring, Trans Euro Trail, Simple Rallying, etc.
The bike has a 70 degree subframe tank. What I would like to know:

--What's the full consumption of those 570 engines and how far can I get with full tanks (original+subframe-tank approx. 12,5 liter total)????

--Can you carry luggage on those subframe tanks? Are they stronger than the original subframe??

Thanks
Grtz

Don’t know about the mileage for I ride a FE390, tested and found it holds 13l including the subframe tank. However, it varies depending on conditions sometimes it is just 200km and sometimes 250km.
Doing multi day camping trips with tent, sleeping and cooking equipment did not break anything in al those years. I use a nomad u-shape saddle bag on top of which I can strap light stuf.
Make sure you mount spacers (e.g. petrol hose)between the fender and the exhaust and keep it close to the center so it still steers well.
