Friend is vertically challenged but likes my 570. Said he would possibly buy one if he could lower it. How would you slightly lower a 2010 FE570 ?? Without a link suspension I'm not sure where he would start, and as I am 6'2" I have never had to search this topic.

it's very easy if you don't go too low. you could put internal or external spacer with a specific thickness or use X-bushing (almost plug and play), forks are easier:they just slide up in the triple clamps!

how much lower?

the low seat gives you 20mm.

I got both seats and comparing back ot back it is noticable

Do not buy the lower seat. Yes it's lower but it's so hard it will make your riding unpleasant fast.

Instead. buy soft foam from GUTS racing and replace the original one. It's more comfortable in comparison to the original and the softer foam collapse some and make you closer to the ground.

Hi,
I've got a 09 570 and I just got it lowered ,revalved and had a progressive spring fitted.
I got them to lower it 20mm , I'm not sure how much more they would go, they did say 25 mm total would be fine.

My first ride with the new setup was on Saturday at the Otways. The difference it made is massive.
Its great for the confidence to be able to touch the ground.
