How much up and down movement should I have in my swingarm with the bike on a stand rear wheel off
the ground. Is there a bushing in the swingare that goes bad?

No play should be felt.
It is actually a hiem joint in the shock. Just like the top.

How many peices do I need to buy? I only see one lower bushing p/n 50180126 and the upper is 50180005 thanks
for your help. There alot of play I hope I didn't let it go to far.

If there is a lot of play then you probably need to replace the whole bushing and seal assembly. Here's the parts list I would use, but, check it for yourself against the spare parts manual. Remember these are dry type bushings, use a press to install them. Let me know if you have any questions.

82 50180153 ADAPTOR-BUSH KGW 32X10X26 2 pieces.

83 50180159 SHAFT SEAL RING KGW D=32 2 pieces.

84 50180175 CIRCLIP KGW D=32 2 pieces.

91 50180179 PIVOT BEARING KGW 1632 1 piece.

Thanks Dale those numbers are into addition to the p/n I put in the previouse post?

In your previous post you list part 85 50180126 as the lower bushing, this not the right part number for the bottom shock bushing.

The other part number you list 6 50180005 is right number for the upper bushing by itself.

If you are going to replace the upper bushing too, you need to add all of the associated parts like those I listed with the lower bushing, don't mix old used up parts and seals with a new bushing. The upper bushing is really cheap. The lower bushing is more expensive.

I'm getting these part numbers from the 2007 parts book.

Thanks I'm useing an online parts fiche that is not any good. I will check those numbers from my parts booklet
when I get home. Boss is hopefully going to put together or have a parts kit for me. Rick is at the dealer show
in San Diego at the moment but his wife is helping check on parts.

Thanks or the note on the dry install. I have greased them a couple of times when trying differant springs.

I'm sure Rick will get you hooked up with the right stuff!! What parts fiche are you using?

there are aftermarket ones to consider as well

and even cheaper I used a universal teflon coated rod end to fit my Ohlins TTX cost $12 but it doesn't just fit straight in the WP clowntube.
