I have a low hour 1997 fc 501 I acquired from a friend. He bought it new in 1997 and raced it in a few gncc races then parked it in a barn. It has very few hours on it. After a carb clean it fires right up. It has a fuel petcock leak and the carb boot is dry rotted. The front brake also does not work. It is complete and in really good shape. Motor has never been apart period. Bike comes with all original paperwork and a new seat cover and graphics kit and chain guide. I thought I would like to mess with it but have quickly lost interest. I have no idea of it value or if it has any. Any input or offers are greatly appreciated. Bike is located in sw Ohio.
