I looked high and low but cannot find a test method and spec. I can assume it is a resistance test, but how many ohms under wet and dry condition?
Mine tests out at ~825,000ohms, wet or dry, at connector and at the device itself, so I'm pretty sure it's a dead duck.
FYI: The shrink-tubing on a terminal of this sensor on the inside-tank side was turning to goo, about ready to start floating around in the tank. If you have your tank off, it would be worth 2 bolts to go in there and remove the useless insulation.
