Had the same. Even got me stranded for I did not know how long I could ride and emptied the tank.
Went through a lengthy search:
- replaced the NTC in the sensor
- checked sensor wiring
- replaced complete sensor
And finally spotted damaged wire near rear shock.
So now it works with the refurbished sensor and I have a spare sensor.
