Love my FE390 and Stillwell suspension

Bought this used 10' 390 a few months ago. Awesome bike although this is my first dirt bike and everyone says I should have ridden some 82' for a year or so to appreciate this thing....

I have to give thanks to Alan Stillwell who rebuild, revalved, and tuned my suspension. I come from an automotive racing background and knew the suspension wasn't set up right on the first trail ride. Once Alan got a hold of it, we realized it was indeed setup for the track with stiff springs and valving. Alan was able to make it very plush without compromising big hits and occasional jumps. The bike just rockets up boldered climbs and all I really have to do is hang on, keep the throttle up and steer a bit. Pretty amazing.

Also wanted to give a shout out to Shane Watts for teaching me the do's and dont's of riding as well as some great technical skills. I recently attended one of his weekend seminars and I can't say enough about it. My skill level improved by 100% within 2 days and just the shear fact of being able to watch him ride was worth the time. He is truly amazing on a motorcycle as well as a great instructor.

Glad I chose a Husaberg and have this forum. Thx

Clay

Hey Clay, I know what you're saying. I'm glad I bought the 390 as well. Had my suspension worked on by Factory Connection in Corona. Well money spent. They also set up and worked on my 11 year old boys Kawasaki. We go to the MX track almost every weekend so I decided for a WORCS/Motorcross set up. Great fun bike. It's weird how much you can love your bike and especially the Berg. Where can I take on of them classes? Are they in California?

Thanks. :D

just had my 2010 FE 450 done by Alan as well.

dropped it off tuesday and done by thursday.... loving how the bike tracks now...

very friendly and explains all the work he's doing and why...

money well spent...
