ILL GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT WAS GOING ALONG IN 5TH GEAR AND WENT TO CLICK DOWN TWICE AS I WAS SLOWING AND WONT GO LOWER THAN 4TH GEAR.GOT HOME AFTER HAVING TO USE 4TH ONLY AND ABOVE FOR 15 BLOODY MILES.PULLING AWAY WAS FUN !!!!
GOT IT ALL APART AND THERE WAS ONE OF THE PINS FROM THE STAR SELECTOR SITTING DOWN THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE.THE STAR SELECTOR HAS ONE BIG ENLARGED AND BENT/DISTORTED HOLE WERE THE PIN WAS.
ANYWAY I HAVE ORDERD A NEW STAR SELECTOR THING AND MY QUESTION IS THAT HOW DO THE PINS STAY IN THE SELECTOR DRUM ???
IS IT AN IDEA TO WELD THE HEADS OF THE PINS TO THE STAR ???
I CHECKED THE OTHERS AND ONE PULLED OUT QUITE EASY....ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT
