I was at my mechanics shop today that is closing down at the end of the month to try to collect the credit I had and spoke with one of the salesman regarding motards. Coincidentally he was the AMA champion on the Aprilia and raced the team 550 for three years.
It seems that this bike is comparable to the 650 since it weighs more but can be tuned for 5 to 10 more horsepower.
Me being me now I want both. It seems that there are only FE650's around if any so I would have to do the conversion. The good thing about this dilemma is I have a beast for off road as well as motarding. Seems good enough to rationalize both.
I'll give the Reno boys a call.
