Hello internet. New guy here looking for help.
I'm 45 and in good shape. Rode enduro (XR250Rs) in my youth and switched to street and have been riding VFRs ever since. Looking to get back into dirt since my 6 year old is about that age to teach to ride. I tripped over a 2000 FE400E I saw for sale that's plated and ready to go. Looks stock. I was originally looking for an XR400R or some other older used trail bike that I could plate for dual use. However light weight (I like jumps too not just trail) and nimble handling is important and I hear these bikes have that. Wanted to check with you vetted Berg riders to see what questions I should ask him as I'm unfamiliar with these bikes. At 45 electric start is a huge bonus. If I could get a list of the important things to look for/questions to ask that would be greatly appreciated.
I did google about this bike but it was a bit confusing because most of the info was about '01 and later models that seemed to have some different parts/fixes than the '00 so I want to make sure I understand.
