Longer Clutch Hose FE570

Has anyone found a longer clutch hose for an FE570 ('11 in my case) or had one made?

I'm looking for a source for a clutch hose ~3" longer than stock.

Does anyone know how long the OEM hose is by any chance?

I'd bet some other bikes would have a hose of the right length for me, but I have no idea how/where to find out if thats true or what bikes would fit.

I've seen places for custom brake hoses but haven't spotted anything for clutch.

Any tips or hints appreciated!
 
If you take it to a hydraulic line shop, they can make you a custom one in whatever length you want.

When my stock line started leaking, I had one made for about $50 instead of paying Husaberg the $150 they wanted. Works great.

Hey there ehsan, do you remember what shop you used? Looks like we're all in the bay area!
 
I used Royal Brass here in San Jose
Hose, Hose Assemblies, Fittings and Hydraulic Adapters in San Jose

There are other shops as well. Search for "Hydraulic Hose" or "Hydraulic Equipment supplier." Google shows a few in Oakland which are closer to you.

There is also The Hose Shop in Santa Cruz which is highly recommended by a good friend of mine but I've never ventured down there.

Take your old hose and they can match it up. Worst case, they have to order the fittings since it's metric.
