The Lubbock Trail Riders are hosting the 4th round of the 2010 National Enduro Series. We are back at the Glass Ranch, home of several Nationals and Qualifiers from year's past. I know when Fritz was racing nationally he raced a few Nationals in our area. The trophies are on the wall in his shop.

Anyway, we have an awesome race planned, on the best riding terrain in Texas, seriously. It's been five years since any race has been held on the property, and we have developed some brand new single track. No four wheeler are allowed on our trail so there will be ZERO two track. The "A" riders will get an extra special treat :D .

I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have, and help anyone in any way once they get here. Our club won the Texas State Enduro of the year award for five years in a row, and we know how to put on a race. I'd love to see some fellow Husaberg riders from this site make it out. We have had abundant moisture the last month and the ride is shaping up to be epic.

I have a question. How the hell are you doing John?? How is the recovery coming?

Hey Berger, thanks for asking. It's been nearly five months to the day. I am really healing slow, too slow really, especially my collar bone. The doctors are about a month away from saying it's a "non-union", which means surgery to place a bone graft from my hip--they'll plate it as well.

My ribs are healing slowly too--they were displaced fractures (five) and will likely bother me for a really long time. I have been back on my bike on and off, but I can't ride like I would like too.

I did get my final bill from Gunnison Valley Hospital. I believe I win the prize for the biggest contributor to the Gunnison economy during FR3. My bill is over $18,000. I tried to tell ya'll I was fine and just to drop me off at the campground. :D
