liner differences

g'day all long time lurker 1st time poster great site learnt a lot.but i have a question can i use a 05 450 liner in a 05 550 what are the differences if any.i dont want to change it into a 450 or anything.i just got a 450 liner real cheap.thanks in advance. cheers

Thanks thats what thought but i just noticed that they have different part numbers.

The 450 liner is about 10mm shorter,due to its shorter stroke.You must carefully check what happens when the piston is on bottom dead center.

I personnaly don´t think it will work.
