Light bulb holder

I did something stupid. I destroyed my light bulb holder to fit a led bulb, but the lo beam is OK but the hi beam is only good for seeing things in the trees.
Now I would like to purchase a new bulb holder to my Husaberg FE 450 2009, but I can only find the kit with the entire front headligh. I only need that bulb holder. (don't know what it's named) ☺
Where can I get one, and what kind of led setup does work with our reflectors or do I need a new one?
My bike is street legal and I wish to keep it that way. But I also need better lights.
I was thinking of the Baja design lamp with a regulator.

I was in contact with a Husaberg dealer, and they will only sell me the hole light as a set.
Is there anyone who knows where to get that part?

Didn't KTM use the same design on a few bikes? If the whole headlight thing is really only sold as a kit it might be better to have more places to look (used KTM takeoff headlights). The stock light is very compromised so it's quite likely that you'd find a lightly used one somewhere from someone going to a bigger light.

(Now trying to find pictures of KTMs with the same headlight but I can only find the "diamond" headlight ... so not 100% sure they used the same.)

Did you have a look in the parts fiche? Is it the headlight and only the whole headlight in there?

Tourist: I have looked at the parts sheet and the only thing that don't have a parts number is the light bulb holder. But I will see if it has a part number on the item. But we have cut it down so mutch so that the number might be gone.
Thank you for looking for the part for me. I have spent some hours on the Internet trying to find it but no luck.

Berglsmerg: Do you use tape for the heat inside the headlight or on top on the outside? And where did you get that tape from?
Thanks for the link!

No worries. Hoosie5esventy used the tape mate so I'm not sure. Think it's like an adhesive aluminum foil tape. Mine is still ok.

Hi all,
Berglsmerg i used this alloy self adhesive tape on the inside of the numbershield on the exhaustside and it works miraculously
I got it from a mate who works with househeating, they use it on exhausts for central heating systems.
