hey guys,

Just checking the referers tonight and caught this over at TT:

Click HERE unless you own a lot of stock in Honda ;)

Firstly, thanks to PowerCell, our TT watchdog. He's usually the first to respond over there, and keeps them coming over to the UHE ;)

Secondly, I've been doing this for a loooong time, and I've never seen Husaberg in a situation where a major magazine's review was causing comments like this. It makes me a happy camper :D

I got the DR mag w/the 24 hour test in it while we were over in Chatanooga, so just got to read it. What a great write up.

thanks,

What's the deal with their Husaberg official forum logos? Husaberg is the Exotics TT forum?

It also seems that James D. is not taking care of his forum over there anymore. It was either that or taking care of Sandra B.

Ooooh it must have been one of these dilemmas.

All good to hear.

I've got to be honest about the reason I bought a Berg. My mate swears by KTM and I was initially looking for a 520exc or similar. Price wise the KTM's were out of my price range as were Hondas and the decent used Yams. I also fancied a TM (great spec) but also expensive and rare.

These Husaberg things kept appearing so I decided to check them out (This is before I knew the importer was on my doorstep and that KTM had bought them out). I just couldn't ignore the Berg. Great spec, great looks, light (even though I'm not :? ) and well balanced. Price wise the Husaberg was a steal so that was it... decision made.

The maintenance schedule didn't bother me as I've always enjoyed tinkering with bikes and saw it as an opportunity to get my hands dirty again.

So I got my Berg... A bit tatty, one or two (or even four!) previous owners but none-the-less mine to do what I liked with. Two bonus points soon became apparent. One, I found this site and two, I found out that an old work colleague has exactly the same bike! Not forgetting DCR on my doorstep.

So here I am, up to my elbows in oil, the FE400 is still a love-hate relationship (mostly love :D ) and a total Husaberg convert! Why own KTM and Honda etc like eveyone else? Booooorrrring

BMG is the official sponsor of both the Supermoto forum and the Exotics forum :) We're getting something like a billion hits a minute. I must say that it's more comfortable over here though

Cheers,

Brett Saunders
