starting to get around my machine a bit more now....they need so little work the joke is that they are more reliable than a KTM - at least we don't have injector troubles!
but I just cannot for the life of me get over the shambles that is the 'back end'?
can you?
two plastic 'tanks' when one would have done
electrics over the battery but with their cables running underneath?
to replace anything you have to collapse the back of the bike, you have to juggle all the wires and hold the subframe up with one knee
fuel only in the one cell
the underseat fuel section is 5-8mm wider than the rear section making it look stupid
my seat removal tog doesn't operate nicely and can't be found half the time
why all the 'teeth' inside the frame rails?
I used a loctite that is too strong I guess because the middle screws on the subframe now spin in the tank...
can't get my hand under the seat to lift the bike - the hole is too small
there's also no strength in the back section and when clagged up the rear end is at breaking point
frame to wide in the middle
seat too soft - at 14 stones (196) i can feel the frame rails
the bike I like, the rest I like, but what the hell went wrong at the back?
regards
